Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei grabs 2016 Indonesia Open crown

Malaysian Lee Chong Wei won the men's singles title here on Sunday, his sixth Indonesia Open crown, coming from behind to beat Danish Jan Jorgensen 17-21, 21-19, 21-17.

After losing the first game, the 2nd seed 33-year-old Lee found his form gradually and won two straight games to clinch the victory.

Jorgensen, the 5th seed, said he was disappointed for the defeat because he could have won the game if he had grabbed the crucial point in the second game.

"I came in the match really strong in the beginning. In the second game I got the chance in the end (to win the match) after leading at 19-17, but I blew it. I am disappointed right now, I thought I have the game in my hand. I thought I would have won, but he was really strong," said Jorgensen, the winner of 2014 Indonesia Open, at the press conference after the match.

Lee didn't attend the conference as he had to rush to the airport to catch his flight. The former world No.1 pocketed 67,500 U.S. dollars for the title, with runner-up Jorgensen receiving 34,200 dollars. Endit
