Malaysian acclaimed Men's Singles (MS) player Lee Chong Wei marched to final of Indonesia Open 2016 Super Series tournament on Saturday after shedding Indonesia's only hope in the championship, Ihsan Maulana Mustofa, in an easy two-straight games.

The five-time champion of Indonesia Open tournament trashed the non-seeded Indonesian MS player in 39 minutes with scores of 21-9 and 21-18 amid the strong supports of audience for the host country's player in the landmark badminton stadium of Istora Senayan.

In the MS final, Chong Wei who won Indonesia Open in 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013 would vie against the winner of another MS semifinal match contending seeded players from China and Denmark Tian Houwei and Jan O. Jorgensen.

"It doesn't matter whom I would meet in the final, either Houwei or Jorgensen. The most important thing is to keep me fit and focus for the match," Chong Wei, who plays as no. 2 MS player in the tournament, told a press conference on the sidelines of the match.

The 33 year-old player Chong Wei previously said that this year could be his last appearance in Indonesia Open tournament. Enditem
