Sporting Lisbon eyeing Brazilian defender Mayke, says agent

Xinhua, June 4, 2016 Adjust font size:

Sporting Lisbon are considering a move for highly rated Brazilian right-back Mayke, according to the 23-year-old's agent.

Fabio Mello said he met with Sporting officials in Lisbon last week, though no concrete offer had been made.

"I had an informal meeting with them ... but there is still nothing specific," Mello was quoted as saying by Brazilian football portal Sambafoot.

Mello added that he would return to Lisbon next week for further talks with the Primeira Liga outfit.

Mayke has made 119 first-team appearances for Cruzeiro since joining the Brazilian Serie club from Siderurgica in 2010. Endit
