14 co-op pacts inked on 7th infrastructure investment, construction forum in Macao

The two-day 7th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum (IIICF) concluded here Friday.

A total of 14 strategic cooperation agreement inked amounting over 4.1 billion U.S. dollars, said the organizer.

President of the organizer, China International Contractors Association Fang Qiuchen told the press after the forum.

According to Fang, the two day event has held 37 thematic activities ranging from keynote forums, parallel panels, round table dialogues, and networking sections. Over 140 business negotiations has been carried out during the forum.

A total of 14 cooperation pacts has been signed here worth 4.1 billion U.S. dollars, including construction cooperation of Madagascar highways, Nicaragua hydro-power station, housing reconstruction projects in Ecuador, Fang said.

The organizers also announced that the eighth edition of the forum will be held in Macao on June 1 to 2, 2017.

IIICF, founded in 2010 by China International Contractors Association with the approval by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, serves as a platform of communication, exchange and cooperation for investment and construction of infrastructure. Endit
