A bomb blast targeted provincial court in eastern Ghazni city on Wednesday, casualties feared, a local official said.

The blast followed by gunshots which lasted for some 10 minutes inflicted casualties, the official who declined to be named told Xinhua.

However, an eyewitness told Xinhua that he saw two injured persons laying on the ground and called for help.

Security forces cordoned off the area and do not allow journalists to get access to the site of the blast. Enditem
