Agritainment Business

Luo Xingfu, a villager with strong marketing insights, was a pioneer in agritainment (agriculture plus entertainment). In fact, Luo made his first fortune running a road transport business at the beginning of this century. By grasping this agritainment opportunity, Luo began to engage in the tourism business as rural tourism has been booming in recent years.

"Our village can't compete with the urban areas regarding modern facilities and equipment. Therefore, we should take full advantage of our natural resources, particularly in farming products, to win visitor's attention and gain popularity," explained Luo.

According to Luo, the more rustic these villages are, the more appealing to tourists."As more and more tourists rush to the villages, locals will inevitably enjoy a more prosperous life. As a result of these changes, their income is gradually increasing."

In addition, the construction and innovation of a number of fundamental facilities are now under way. Furthermore, more work has been done to raise locals' awareness in the fight against poverty. Now, people in these villages are willing to make ongoing changes to attain sustainable economic growth.
