Guangzhou Evergrande fail to get 10th straight win

Defending champion Guangzhou Evergrande tied Shanghai SIPG 1-1 at home in the 11th round of 2016 Chinese Super League (CSL) on Sunday, failing to grab its 10th straight win.

Both teams got no luck in the first half of this eye-catching match. Brazilian Goulart broke the deadlock for Guangzhou Evergrande in the 64th minute on a pass from Gao Lin while Jean Evrard equalized for Shanghai SIPG only six minutes later.

Yu Dabao and Zhang Chiming's goals helped Beijing Guoan beat Shandong Luneng 2-0 on the road, which left Shandong Luneng with six successive winless games.

Elsewhere, promoted Hebei China Fortune beat Chongqing Lifan 3-1 on the road to get the second place of table.

French Gorius's header in the 27th minute helped Changchun Yatai beat Shijiazhuang Ever Bright 1-0. Endit
