Spanish stock market rises 2.32 pct, closes at 9,125 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 rose 2.32 percent on Wednesday to close at 9,125 points, up from the 8,918.10 points of Tuesday.

On Wednesday session, Sacyr shares led rises climbing 7.92 percent, followed by Banco Popular, Caixabank, Banco Santander, Bankia and BBVA that rose 7.53 percent, 6.27 percent, 6.07 percent, 5.46 percent and 5.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, AENA shares led falls losing 3.89 percent, followed by Abertis A, Inditex, Enagas, Gamesa and Amadeus that lost 0.82 percent, 0.63 percent, 0.48 percent, 0.42 percent and 0.41 percent respectively.

Spain's risk premium closed at 132.70 points on Wednesday and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.48 percent, both showing no big differences when compared with Tuesday closing time. Endit
