China SOEs profits continue to decline

Combined profits of China's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) reached 652.26 billion yuan (98.8 billion U.S. dollars) in the first four months this year, down 8.4 percent from one year earlier, official data showed Wednesday.

The pace of decline, however, eased from the 13.8-percent fall registered in the first three months, the Ministry of Finance said. Endi
