Xinhua, May 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

Total turnover on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) continued to rise in the past week as more small firms came to the market for financing.

Transaction volume on the NEEQ rose more than 11.14 percent from the previous week to 3.11 billion yuan (around 480 million U.S. dollars) during May 16 to 20.

Last week, 155 enterprises debuted on the market, up by around 50 percent week on week.

So far, 7,345 NEEQ-listed companies have raised a total of more than 70 billion yuan. The total market capitalization is almost 3 trillion yuan.

The NEEQ is the market for Chinese startup companies to transfer their shares for fund-raising. Endi
