Coaches, lorry collide in Vietnam, killing 12

A total of 12 people were killed and dozens injured as two coaches collided with a lorry early on Sunday in Vietnam.

Two inter-provincial coaches had a head-on collision and then a lorry crushed into them, triggering a fire which burnt the coaches.

The accident happened in Ham Thuan Nam district, central Binh Thuan province at 4 a.m. local time, online newspaper VnExpress reported.

Passengers got stuck in the coaches, calling for help, the online newspaper said. Endit
