Spanish stock market falls 1.14 pct, closes at 8,674 points

The Spanish stock market index Ibex-35 dropped 1.14 percent on Thursday to close at 8,674.70 points, down from the 8,775.10 points of Wednesday.

On Thursday's session, ArcelorMittal shares led falls plummeting 5.79 percent, followed by Repsol, Sacyr, Acerinox, OHL and Tecnicas Reunidas that lost 4.32 percent, 4.11 percent, 3.74 percent, 3.71 percent and 3.55 percent respectively.

On the other hand, Caixabank shares led rises climbing 1.08 percent, followed by Bankinter, Banco Sabadell, Merlin, and Gamesa that rose 0.82 percent, 0.52 percent, 0.38 percent and 0.03 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, Spain's risk premium closed at 142.30 points and Spain's 10-year bond interest rate closed at 1.5 percent, both showing no differences when compared with Wednesday at closing time. Endit
