China donates office equipments to Chad's parliament

Xinhua, May 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Chinese Ambassador to Chad Hu Zhiqiang on Wednesday donated office equipments valued at 500,000 yuan (over 76,000 U.S. dollars) to the National Assembly of Chad, the country's parliament.

"These materials will enable our different departments to quickly accomplish their management tasks," Haroun Kabadi, President of Chad's National Assembly said.

Kabadi termed cooperation between the two countries as a "win-win" partnership that had brought numerous fruits to Chad.

In May 2015, the visit to Chad by Zhang Ping, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, helped to establish strong ties between the legislative institutions of the two countries.

In March this year, a Chadian parliamentary delegation went to China to participate in a seminar on bilateral cooperation between legislative institutions.

The Chinese diplomat expressed hope that "Chad's parliament and the National People's Congress of China will maintain their dynamic ties and that Chadian parliamentarians will reinforce relations between the two countries." Enditem
