Tunisian girl kidnapped, killed on way to school

A four-year-old girl was confirmed being kidnapped and killed in Grand-Tunis, announced Tuesday the Tunisian Interiors Ministry.

According to the Ministry, the victim was kidnapped while her sister accompanied her on the way to the kindergarten this morning in Mellassine, a popular district in Grand-Tunis not far from where her body was found in Cite Helal.

In an official statement, the Ministry confirmed the suspect is 25 years old without further details. The police have launched an investigation.

According to different local media, the early proofs showed the suspect is a sergeant and has already admitted his crime.

The local media "Realites" reported the victim was raped before being killed and put into a bag, adding that the killer, who was also a victim of an a sexual abuse when he was 11 years old.

He admitted that he tried many times to kidnap the children but failed until this day. Endit
