Two police officers injured in landmine explosion in Mogadishu

Two Somali police officers on Saturday evening sustained injuries following a landmine explosion on the outskirts of the capital, Mogadishu.

Local officials told Xinhua the officers were injured when their vehicle was hit by a landmine along Mogadishu-Garasbaley highway.

The injured officers have been admitted to hospital and no group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack. Endit
