British FTSE 100 decreases 0.95 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, the British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.95 percent, or 58.30 points, to 6,104.19 points.

Share price of Compass Group increased by 1.60 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips.

Marks & Spencer Group, Randgold Resources, Taylor Wimpey and SSE increased by 1.48 percent, 1.23 percent, 1.22 percent and 1.19 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 6.85 percent, following by Antofagasta (4.60 percent), J Sainsbury (3.99 percent), Centrica (3.67 percent) and BHP Billiton (3.51 percent). Endit
