Indian stocks close higher

Indian stocks shrugged off the scare over Mauritius tax treaty recast and turned upbeat all through Thursday.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,790.22, 193.20 points or 0.75 percent up from previous close of 25,597.02, with a turnover of 532.82 crore rupees (about 80.0 million U.S. dollars). Endit
