FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is on the way to finish the season as the top scorer in Spain' s BBVA Primera Liga and Europe, but believes his incredible campaign is due to the help of his team-mates.

Suarez has netted 37 league goals in 34 appearances for Barcelona as his side close in on the league title, which they will lift if they win away to Granada in the last game of the season on Saturday.

"You score goals thanks to your companions," he said in quotes reproduced in the Spanish media.

"Recently they have always tried to pick me out so that I can score," commented the Uruguayan, who admitted he was surprised by his success since joining from Liverpool.

"I never imagined I was going to score so many goals for Barca and I am really enjoying the moment," he said.

Suarez then turned his attention to the title race, saying the league depended on what his side did in Granada. "We know that we are just a win away from the title and that was the objective we always set ourselves at the start of the season," he explained, adding that the positive atmosphere in the dressing room allowed Barca to overcome a run of just one point from 4 games at the end of March and early April.

"The team remained united and we had confidence in our quality," he commented, before finally discussing the King' s Cup final against Sevilla on May 22nd.

"Sevilla are one of the toughest rivals we could have had. Both sides know each other well and they will make it very hard for us;" assured Suarez. Endit
