British FTSE 100 increases 0.68 pct on Tuesday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Tuesday increased by 0.68 percent, or 41.84 points, to 6,156.65 points.

Share price of Capita increased by 5.18 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Anglo American, Standard Chartered, TUI AG Reg Shs and Barclays increased by 4.70 percent, 3.90 percent, 2.99 percent and 2.87 percent respectively.

Taylor Wimpey led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 2.01 percent, followed by Paddy Power Betfair (1.93 percent), Associated British Foods (1.86 percent), Berkeley Group Holdings (1.47 percent) and Travis Perkins (1.24 percent). Endit
