TORONTO -- The wildfire in western Canada has spread to 85,000 hectares in Fort McMurray overnight and is now billowing across a wide front south of the city, a senior official said Thursday.

NEW DELHI -- At least six pilgrims were killed and 40 others injured after being hit by a thunderstorm Thursday in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, officials said.
