New Rio 2016 tickets to go on sale

A new round of tickets has been put on sale for Olympic gymnastics, canoeing and rowing, Rio 2016 organizers said on Wednesday.

An unspecified number of tickets in all price categories will be available from noon on Thursday via the official Rio 2016 website.

The Rio 2016 organizing committee has said it will put tickets on sale every Thursday for sessions there were previously unavailable.

Fans residing outside of Brazil may buy tickets from authorized resellers in their countries.

More than one million tickets will be made available in the coming weeks as seating plans for venues are confirmed. Endit
