1st LD: At least 17 killed by suspected Ugandan rebels in eastern DR Congo

At least 17 people were killed on Tuesday evening by suspected fighters of the Ugandan rebel group, Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), in Minibo and Mutsonge villages, located 60 km northeast of Beni town, North Kivu province in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo).

The death toll was reported on Wednesday by DR Congo army spokesman for Sokola 1 operation, Lieutenant Hazukay Mak, who said those killed included 10 women and five children. Endit
