Xinhua, April 30, 2016 Adjust font size:

A terrorist was killed and four policemen injured in an armed clash between the militants and cops in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Saturday, officials said.

In-charge Counter Terrorism Department of police Mazhar Mashwani said that two militants were also injured in the clash that broke out when police raided a house in Nusrat Bhutto Colony of Karachi, the capital city of the country's south Sindh province.

Police said that they raided the house acting on an intelligence tip-off regarding presence of suspected militants there who were plotting terrorist attacks in the city.

The injured policemen were shifted to a nearby hospital where they are said to be in stable condition.

Identities of the militants have not been revealed yet. Endit
