Xinhua, April 29, 2016 Adjust font size:

Namibia will host the 9th International Wildlife Ranching Symposium (IWRS) from Sept. 12 to Sept.16 , in the capital Windhoek.

The symposium precedes the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species 17th meeting, which will be held in South Africa from Sept.24 September to Oct. 5.

According to the organizers, the attendance of the 9th IWRS will benefit delegates and national stakeholders to network for the upcoming discussions at the Conference, such as the global rhino imperative.

Various sessions are planned and speakers have been invited from all over the world to share practical knowledge, skills and attitudes with representatives from the private and communal sectors.

This will be the first year Namibia will host this wildlife symposium after previous meetings held in South Africa, the United States, Canada and France. Endit
