Dollar in lower 111 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 111 yen zone in early deals in Tokyo on Wednesday morning, largely unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 111.22-23 yen compared with 111.25-35 yen in New York and 110.84-86 yen at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Tokyo.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1296-1297 dollars and 125.65-66 yen against 1.1298-1308 dollars and 125.74-84 yen in New York and 1.1282-1283 dollars and 125.05-09 yen in late afternoon trade in Tokyo on Tuesday. Endit
