U.S. stocks end mixed amid oil rebound, data

U.S. stocks closed mixed Tuesday, as investors digested gains in oil prices and the newly-released economic data.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 13.08 points, or 0.07 percent, to 17,990.32. The S&P 500 rose 3.91 points, or 0.19 percent, to 2,091.70. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 7.48 points, or 0.15 percent, to 4,888.31. Endit
