Draft law on overseas NGOs likely to be put to vote

Xinhua, April 25, 2016 Adjust font size:

A draft law to regulate overseas nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in China was submitted for its third reading on Monday and is likely to be put to the vote.

The bill was submitted to the bi-monthly session of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee, which runs from Monday to Thursday.

The NPC Law Committee suggested in a review report to the lawmakers that the bill should be put to the vote at this session for it has been quite thorough after two readings. Endi
