Morocco, Jordan sign multiple cooperation agreements

Morocco and Jordan signed here on Friday 15 cooperation agreements in various domains.

The agreements, which were signed during the 5th High Moroccan-Jordanian joint committee, cover several areas, including trade, industry, sustainable development, tourism and education.

These agreements aim to consolidate the strong bilateral relations and give new impetus, especially to their trade and investment cooperation, said a joint statement.

The joint committee is held under the chairmanship of the Morocco's head of government Abdelilah Benkirane and the Jordanian Prime Minister Abdallah Nassour.

Morocco and Jordan enjoy close bilateral ties. They are also close and privileged allies of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council. Enditem
