Xinhua, April 22, 2016 Adjust font size:

A roadside bomb attack killed at least one Pakistani security man and injured two others in a tribal region on Friday, security officials said.

The attack in Kurram tribal agency also injured two other soldiers, they said. The injured were shifted to a military hospital in the area. Kurram is one of Pakistan's seven tribal regions along the border with Afghanistan.

The outlawed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack at Shaheedano Dhand area near Pak-Afghan border.

The TTP spokesman, Mohammad Khorasani, said the group used a roadside bomb in the attack.

Pakistani forces have cleared most of the areas of the Taliban in Kurram. However, the militant group still have some hideouts in the mountainous terrains. Enditem
