China's urban unemployment rate at 4.04 pct

China's registered unemployment rate in urban areas stood at 4.04 percent by March, edging down from the 4.05 percent seen last year, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (MHRSS) said on Friday.

A total of 3.18 million new jobs were created in urban areas in the first three months of 2016, ministry spokesman Li Zhong said at a press conference. Endit
