British FTSE 100 decreases 0.45 pct on Thursday

FTSE 100 Index, British benchmark stock market gauge, Thursday decreased by 0.45 percent, or 28.82 points, to 6,381.44 points.

Share price of Shire increased by 2.84 percent, topped the gainers of the blue chips. Tesco, Royal Bank of Scotland Group, HSBC Holdings and Lloyds Banking Group increased by 1.65 percent, 1.64 percent, 1.40 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.

Anglo American led the top losers of the blue chips with a share price drop of 5.64 percent, following by Sky (4.18 percent), Sage Group (3.59 percent), National Grid (3.49 percent) and Associated British Foods (3.09 percent). Enditem
