Central China province reports H5N6 case

A human H5N6 avian flu was reported in central China's Hubei Province on Thursday.

The male patient, 35, who resides in Shennongjia Forestry District had contacted with live poultry before he fell sick. He is in a critical condition in hospital, according to a statement from the provincial health and family planning commission.

The world's first human H5N6 infection was reported in May 2014 in southwest China's Sichuan Province. Endi
