Urgent: Explosion reported at Pajaritos petrochemical complex in east Mexico

An explosion was reported on Wednesday afternoon at the Pajaritos petrochemical complex, belonging to Mexican national oil company Pemex, the governor of the eastern state of Veracruz, Javier Duarte, announced on Twitter.

On its Twitter account, Pemex said the explosion took place at the Clorados III vinyl plant, owned by PMV, a Pemex joint venture with Mexichem, and that at least three workers had been injured. Enditem
