Dollar in lower 109 yen level in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 109 yen level early Wednesday in Tokyo.

At 9 a.m. local time, the dollar was quoted at 109.21-22 yen compared with 109.16-26 yen in New York and 109.12-14 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1358-1358 dollars and 124.04-05 yen against 1.1351-1361 dollars and 124.01-11 yen in New York and 1.1326-1328 dollars and 123.59-63 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endit
