Dortmund' s Aubameyang to miss German Cup semi-final

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will be sidelined for the German Cup semi-final encounter against Berlin after suffering a toe injury, the "BVB" confirmed in an official statement on Tuesday.

Dortmund will have to do it without their top scorer Aubameyang, who suffered a bone splintering in his toe following a trainings session on Monday. The Gabon international will thus be unavailable for the German Cup semi-final at Berlin Olympia stadium on Wednesday.

Aubameyang' s loss is a blow for Thomas Tuchel men, as the striker provided 23 goals this season. It is likely that Adrian Ramos will fill in for Aubameyang.

The German Cup is the last title chance for the "BVB" , who crashed out in the UEFA Europa League. They sit aside from that seven points adrift of Bundesliga front-runners Bayern Munich with four rounds to spare. Endit
