Xinhua, April 19, 2016 Adjust font size:

Pakistan on Tuesday strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Kabul that killed and injured dozens of people.

"We extend our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to those who have lost their loved ones and pray for an early recovery of the injured," the Foreign Ministry spokesman said in Islamabad.

He said in a statement that the Government of Pakistan condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and expresses solidarity with the Government and brotherly people of Afghanistan in their hour of grief and struggle against terrorism.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack on a building of the guards who perform VIP duties, according to officials. Enditem
