Dollar moves in lower 109 yen range in early trade in Tokyo

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 109 yen zone in early deals on Tuesday morning in Tokyo, marginally higher than levels seen overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 109.07-13 yen compared with 108.78-88 yen in New York and 108.21-23 yen in Tokyo on Monday at 5 p.m.

The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1307-1308 dollars and 123.32-33 yen against 1.1310-1320 dollars and 123.08-18 yen in New York and 1.1300-1302 dollars and 122.28-32 yen in later trade in Tokyo on Monday afternoon. Endit
