Munich int'l trade fair Bauma ends with record numbers of visitors, exhibitors

Bauma 2016 International Trade Fair ends on Sunday in the southern German city of Munich with record numbers of visitors and exhibitors.

According to the organizer, about 580,000 visitors from 200 countries and regions, representing a rise of nine percent than the number in 2013.

A total of 3,423 exhibitors from 58 countries and regions presented their products, developments and innovations on a record 605,000 square meters of exhibition space, the official organizer announced in its closing report.

Among them, 1,263 come from Germany and some 10 percent of total exhibitors are from China.

Bauma 2016, the International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment, took place from April 11 to 17 2016 at the trade fair grounds in Munich.

Bauma is held every three years. The next event is to take place from April 8 to 14, 2019 in Munich. Endit
