Five people were confirmed dead Saturday after a powerful quake measured at magnitude 7.3 jolted Kumamoto Prefecture, with aftershocks continue rocking the area.

WASHINGTON -- Finance leaders from the Group of 20 leading economies on Friday reiterated their commitments to using all policy tools, including monetary, fiscal and structural instruments, to foster confidence and strengthen growth.

WASHINGTON -- The United Sates on Friday condemned the failed missile launch by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) as a "provocative act" that violated UN Security Council resolutions.

JOHANNESBURG -- Thousands of South Africans marched to the Constitutional Court (ConCourt) in Johannesburg on Friday to press demand for President Jacob Zuma to resign.
The march was organized by the opposition Democratic Alliance (DA) after the ConCourt ruled on March 31 that Zuma failed to uphold the Constitution when he did not comply with Public Protector Thuli Madonsela's remedial action regarding payments for the non-security upgrades at his private homestead in Nkandla, KwaZulu-Natal Province.
