Tournament of football facilities to be held in Benin

The 6th international tournament of football training centers (Tic2f) will be held from April 18-24 here, the organizers said on Thursday.

Twelve football training centers from eight West and Central African countries are expected to take part in the tournament, the source said.

"The purpose of the 6th international tournament of football training centers is to make Cotonou city the hub for African best talents' scouting," promoter Mounirou Daouda told Xinhua.

Five football training centers from Benin -- Alodo Sports, Abi Sport, Bes Academie, Divinite Supreme and Benin Foot Academie, will compete alongside facilities from seven other countries.

These are Asfa from Ivory Coast, Sporting Club from Ghana, As Bamako from Mali, Vogt Athletic Club from Cameroon, Kozaf from Burkina Faso, 36 Lion FC from Nigeria and Swallows from Togo. Endit
