Singapore stocks close 0.03 pct higher

Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 0.92 points, or 0.03 percent, to close at 2,809.24.

A total of 1.11 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 760.3 million Singapore dollars (563.2 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 193 to 188, while 533 others finished unchanged.

The STI index lost 5.27 points, or 0.19 percent, to close at 2,808.32 on Friday. Endit
