Guangzhou edge Beijing, Jiangsu keep slim lead

Defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande scored an away victory of 3-0 over Beijing Guoan in the fourth round of the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Guangzhou broke the deadlock in the 26th minute when Gao Lin netted the pass from Goulart who himself made other two goals in the 44th and 81st minutes.

After two consecutive defeats, Beijing fell to the bottom of table and were winless from the opening three matches.

Leaders Jiangsu Suning beat Henan Jianye 1-0 on the road, with Ji Xiang scoring in the 87th minute. The victory kept Jiangsu one point ahead of Guangzhou, and also delivered the first lose to Henan.

In the other match of the day, Shijiazhuang Ever Bright tied Chongqing Lifan 1-1 at home. Endi
