Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi undergoes eye operation

Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi underwent eye operation in Nay Pyi Taw on Saturday morning, said U Win Htein, member of the central executive committee of the National League for Democracy.

"Her eye operation is successful but she has to take rest for operation on another eye on April 16,"U Win Htein said.

Aung San Suu Kyi, who is also minister of foreign affairs and minister of the President' Office, underwent eye operation at Eye, Ear and Thorax Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw. Endit
