U.S. dollar falls amid Fed official's remarks

The U.S. dollar decreased against most major currencies on Friday as a Federal Reserve official suggested the central bank should proceed cautiously in raising rates.

In late New York trading, the euro rose to 1.1396 dollars from 1.1379 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 108.37 Japanese yen, higher than 108.27 in the previous session. Endit
