Xi congratulates Sassou Nguesso on re-election as president of Republic of Congo

Chinese President Xi Jinping has congratulated Denis Sassou Nguesso on his re-election as president of the Republic of Congo.

In a congratulatory message Wednesday, Xi said he attaches great importance to the development of ties between the two countries.

Xi also said he is willing to work with Sassou Nguesso to inject vitality into the bilateral comprehensive cooperative partnership featuring solidarity and mutual assistance. Endi
