A helicopter of the Albanian Armed Forces crashed in the village of Grizhja, Shkodra region, north Albania, killing two crew members and injuring a third person onboard, Albanian Ministry of Defense confirmed on Wednesday.
"Two members of the crew, captain Florian Delija and lieutenant Donald Hoxha, died, while a third person, soldier Gerald Baramuca is injured and is being treated in Shkodra regional hospital," the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Jeronim Bazo, said in a statement during a press conference after the accident. SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir -- Two militants were killed in separate gunfights with Indian troops in restive Indian controlled Kashmir, police said Wednesday.
A militant yet to be identified was killed in the ongoing gunfight at village Dardpora- Lolab in frontier Kupwara district, about 110 km northwest of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir. (Kashmir-India-Gunfight)

DAMASCUS -- The Islamic State (IS) militants are believed to have kidnapped 344 Syrian workers and employees from a cement factory near Damascus, the pro-government Sham FM radio reported on Wednesday.
The IS militants attacked the cement factory in the town of Dumair northeast of the capital Damascus, and herded the abductees to an unknown destination on Monday afternoon. (Syria-IS-Kidnap)

ANKARA -- A Turkish soldier was killed in an attack by Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) militants in the country's southeastern province of Diyarbakir on Wednesday, Turkish security sources told Anadolu Agency.
