LME base metals close lower on Tuesday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Tuesday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 77.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.60 percent, to 4,767.5 U.S. dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 22 U.S. dollars, or 1.42 percent, to 1,524 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 37 U.S. dollars, or 2.12 percent, to 1,706 U.S. dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 52 U.S. dollars, or 2.79 percent, to 1,814 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 2.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.03 percent, to 8,435 U.S. dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 262.5 U.S. dollars, or 1.57 percent, to 16,437.5 U.S. dollars a tonne. Enditem
