The following are highlights of leading South African media outlets on Monday.

-- President Jacob Zuma will survive a key extended national working committee meeting to be held on Monday, at which the African National Congress (ANC) will probably move to forge a shaky unity to ward off opposition forces smelling blood after the Constitutional Court finding that the president failed to uphold, defend and respect the Constitution.(Business Day).

-- President Jacob Zuma and his backers have dared his detractors in the ANC: fire the president and face the consequences.

ANC insiders have told City Press that, among the tactics the Zuma camp is using in its fightback against those who want him recalled are warnings which include the possible dissolution of Parliament if Zuma is recalled. (City Press).

-- President Jacob Zuma might have more on his plate to answer for this week - this time in relation to his nephew, Khulubuse Zuma's oil fields in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

A massive international leak on offshoretax havens - dubbed the PanamaLeaks or the PanamaPapers on Twitter - showed that Khulubuse Zuma stashed away money in the British Virgin Islands in 2010, after being allocated two DRC oil fields.( Mail & Guardian). Endit
