-- Ambassadors from Asian and Oceania countries have expressed their confidence that Ethiopian Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom is a strong candidate for the post of a Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO).
This was revealed during the discussion the ambassadors had with State Minister of Foreign Minister Taye Atskesellaie on Thursday.
It is to be recalled that the African Union Executive Council on its 26th Ordinary Session had endorsed the candidature of Tedros Adhanom for the post of WHO Director-General. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)
-- Ethiopian Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom and his Ivorian counterpart, Dr. Abdallah Toikeusse held bilateral consultations on Thursday at the office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ivory Coast.
