The brand-new FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, will arrive in Bolivia on Wednesday where he will play for the visiting team in a soccer match against Bolivian President Evo Morales and his team, announced the Bolivian Football Federation (FBF) on Tuesday.

Accompanying the world soccer chief on his team will be former stars like Spain's Fernando Hierro, Brazil's Cafu and Argentina's Martin Palermo, according to the FBF.

The FIFA president's schedule for his time in Bolivia was made public on Tuesday by FBF president Rolando Lopez during a news conference. The official activities also include meetings with local soccer leaders and Morales.

The international delegation is due to arrive at 16:00 local time (20:00 GMT) in the Jorge Wilstermann Airport in Cochabamba, central Bolivia, according to Lopez.

At 18:00 local time (22:00 GMT) Infantino is scheduled to be present at a ceremony in Cochabamba's local government office. President Morales is also expected to attend along with local authorities.

"President Morales will give the FIFA president an award... In the evening, there will be a dinner organized by Conmebol (South American Football Confederation) and the FBF along with the league presidents," said Lopez.

Spain's Fernando Hierro (World Cup player in 1990, 1994, 1998 and 2002), Brazil's 1994 World Cup winning team member Marcos Evangelista de Moraes Cafu and Argentina's 2010 World Cup player Martin Palermo will be among Infantino's entourage along with Conmebol president Alejandro Dominguez and other South American and world soccer leaders.

Infantino will arrive from Uruguay where he met with local soccer authorities. The FIFA president's South America tour kicked off in Paraguay on Monday and after Bolivia, Infantino will travel to Colombia.

A news conference in a Cochabamba hotel is programmed for Thursday and then the friendly match will be played between Morales and Infantino's teams.

According to the FBF, Morales' team will be made up of players from the Bolivian national team that played in the World Cup 1994 held in the United States.

The friendly will begin at 09:30 local time (13:30 GMT) and will last 60 minutes.

The match will take place in soccer club Aurora's Alalay sports complex, and entrance is expected to be free. Enditem
